Das leise, kleine, leichte und günstige Apple iBook hinterließ einen, bis auf das Display, positiven Eindruck. Die Leistung ist zwar für Spieler und Hochleistungsanwender eventuell nicht ausreichend, für Office, Internet und etwas Bildbearbeitung aber mehr als ausreichend. Man sollte dem Kleinen jedoch mindestens 512 MB RAM gönnen um flüssiges Arbeiten zu gewährleisten.
