Microsoft softwares are all too EZ to defeat.  I defeat Windows 11 telemetry and forced updates by simply never allowing it to connect to the internet.  But you say isn't a computer useless without the internet?  Hello, ever heard of a second partition with Linux installed?  This Microsoft Defender sooooo EZ to defeat by first disabling scan archives in advanced settings before downloading MAS as a ZIP file, then turn off Defender live scanning momentarily when you're ready to deploy MAS.  Once MAS is actually installed on your system, Defender can do jack about it...

It's all true.  Microsoft Defender will block MAS.  You can't even save it on your system now to run later. Defender will simply delete it the moment it finds it.  The trick is, obviously when you download MAS, you will most likely get the raw naked script or a ZIP file.  To defeat Microsoft Defender, you need only to disable scan archives in the advanced settings before downloading MAS as a ZIP file.

Reports are spreading that Microsoft Defender is blocking the popular community tool MAS, flagging it as a fake. In contrast, our own tests demonstrate that the script works flawlessly. Have affected users perhaps fallen victim to DNS tampering?
