It's unbelievable, but AMD has always been the one to suffer the feature restrictions in laptops for years. This means that Intel is still bribing manufacturers, something unthinkable, especially now that AMD laptop processors are far superior to Intel's. I hope things change because I think it's unfair competition.
MSI has already previewed the Raider Max 16 HX during CES 2026. Additionally, the company has teased the release of two cheaper options, including an AMD variant that will match its Max counterpart with an optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU.
