A new Sega Channel Revival project brings the 1990s cable-based Sega Genesis subscription service back to life on modern hardware, with MiSTer and Raspberry Pi builds that faithfully recreate the original menus, characters, and rotating game library. Built from recovered prototype ROMs and preserved system data hosted on the Internet Archive, this offline reconstruction offers a historically rich, near-accurate experience of Sega's ahead-of-its-time platform, albeit without save support at the moment.
