Is there any indication that the 97 inch will get the same tech as the G6 in other sizes this year? The G4's viewing angles were better due to the MLA tech. The G5 has similar viewing angles to all other OLED TVs, which is still very good. MLA improved viewing angles noticably!
One more year of only 165 Hz?, while gaming monitors with the same panels (W-OLED (made by LG) and QD-OLED (made by SAMSUNG)) reach over 500 Hz and 1000 Hz already announced now. Come on, big TV makers, give us OLED TV gamers at least 240 Hz in 2026 IN MID-RANGE (not even the top line, in top line you can offer 360 Hz). PS: I'm not getting an OLED with anti-glare coating as I want my text sharp and colors punchy.
RTINGS said in their YouTube video that the viewing angles in LG G5 are reduced due to the tandem panel. Let's see if it's fixed in the G6.
LG's next-generation flagship OLED TVs are expected to be officially unveiled in just a few days, but a leak has already jumped the gun and offers many details of LG OLED G6 and W6, both of which will apparently sport a new "Hyper Radiant" tandem OLED panel.
