Loading Gpt-Oss-120B LLM from a SATA drive will take 60000 MB / 500 MB/s = 120 seconds = 2 min. Using this, or any PCIe 5.0, drive it's going to take only 4 to 5 seconds. And now we have a use-case for PCIe 5.0 speeds in consumer environments.
