QuoteIt's all a matter of application. Not everyone needs it to identify Dorito bags
Quote from: TruthIsThere on Yesterday at 23:29:42Yeah, but... A, comparing a controlled device, our smartphones, to an inference entity (probabilities/just guessing) is night & day!
Some folks may feel fine handcuffed to a system that fails to understand the difference from a Doritos' bag over a firearm; but, I'll just stick to a peace-of-mind simple life/ecosystem.
Quote from: Redaktion on Yesterday at 19:31:46Hideo Kojima, famed creator of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, outlined bold new concepts, including a game designed for weightlessness and another built to train and "delight" artificial intelligence. In an interview, he predicted AI will transform game development within five to ten years, arguing it should be embraced as a practical tool, much like smartphones once were, rather than feared.

WTH...?!
Just foolishness!
No Kojima did not just compare a user's smartphone; communication, all media playback, home security hub, financial payments, automated doors/windows lockers/openers, controlling lights/appliances/HVAC... on & on; to Ai hallucinations' SLOP?!?!
Clearly, Kojima is complicit, deliberately, especially him being a push for Ai dominance in a industry that he could benefit from, especially financially/reduced human workforces.
I mean... Ai cannot even distinguish a Doritos bag, folks... from a firearm; but Kojima is on record stating this foolishness?!
Allrriiighty, then! 😏
