Many moons are like that, it is called Tidally locked, and some moons like pluto has a moon that they are bot tidally locked to each other always showing the same side to each other.

This! Although, @dawnstar forgot to mention one thing - the whole Moon is made of cheese. And it is placed there just to make us hungry, that's its sole purpose.

On a serious note - nice article; it must've been a nice feeling to spot such a thing (and this is one of those case where the circle really helps, lol).

Our true self seems to be like a software (consciousness) and the body is just a hardware (vessel for consciousness)

May be all this setup on earth or universe is kind of a training place to train the software for a better version just like machine learning of a robot which learns in simulation and once perfected then it is used in real world.

Once at night when the moon was very large in the sky I saw with my own eyes a meteor strike that created a large yellow cloud and plume and then settled back down. First and only time, so if one can see them with the naked eye, having a telescope see one cant be that rare a thing.
