If I remember correctly, there was a concern that the performance of the Strix Point CPU might be degraded if the PC featured user-upgradable memory. The GMKtec Evo-X1 gaming mini PC is back at its record-low price on Amazon, featuring the powerful 12-core AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix Point" APU paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and OCuLink support. Our review reveals that the performance on offer is excellent, although the soldered memory is a cause for concern.
