Trend doesn't know what the heck they are talking about; or they are compromised.

Technologies like HBM4 and silicon photonics help by making AI systems a bit more energy-efficient; reducing power use by ~15-28%... in theory; which can slow future rate hikes (kWh). But... if Jensen continue his mad plans to release these extreme power hungry GPUs that could jack-up; already struggling grids; usages over 300% minimum; that ~15% to 28% reduction from HBM4 and silicon photonics will not mean swat.

No. The only solution for the future is quantum... which scares Jensen, ect!

2026 could turn everything upside down. AI is no longer content with software and is now reaching for hardware, according to the conclusion reached by TrendForce. At the same time, rumors are rife. Apple is finally planning to launch a foldable iPhone, while new AI chips are running so hot that fans are becoming useless.
