Warner Bros. Discovery hat auch Gebote von Paramount, Skydance und Comcast erhalten. Doch das von Netflix scheint begünstigt zu werden, da es von der Investmentbank Moelis & Co. unterstützt wird, welche die Fusion von Skydance und Paramount Global abwickelte. Netflix hat ausdrücklich erklärt, dass das Unternehmen nur an der IP-Bibliothek sowie den Produktions-Assets interessiert ist und keine Pläne hat, ältere Mediennetzwerke wie CNN und TNT zu übernehmen.
