Former Volition design director Chris Stockman,  best known for 2006's Saints Row and a vocal critic of the 2022 reboot, says Embracer Group has requested a formal pitch for a prequel tentatively called "Saints Row 0," which he envisions as a return to the series' 1970s-rooted, gang-origin story.
