because of cheap-o Chinese junk that has flooded amazon, to the point that 99% of the products in EVERY category, from bicycles to chairs to rucksacks to hard drives to cables to every(...)thing, I found a perfect AI solution to my search woes. I stopped. And combined with the fact that amazon now blocks seeing more than just a few reviews unless you log in (to provide them juicy data on what registered users watch, how long for, etc, etc) - I just don't shop on amazon anymore. If there's a SPECIFIC product I'm after, I check its price on amazon, just to make sure I get it cheaper, and only buy on amazon when the price is competitive enough. I think I might have one purchase on amazon this year, or maybe it was end of last year, can't remember. It's just not fun wading knee-deep in rubbish dump.
Amazon's Help Me Decide AI streamlines product selection by analyzing user preferences, past purchases, and reviews to deliver tailored recommendations. Available in the Amazon Shopping app, it reduces time wasted researching the best products.
