That can be said regarding almost any high-end phone from 2020 and above: either you're really interested in camera improvements, or you only need to update your phone if the battery malfunctions, something breaks, or SW/OS updates are no longer available.

We are at a point of diminishing returns, especially in Europe, where battery size is legally limited, so all the battery improvements that are coming from China can't reach this market.

I just hope that solid state batteries, and other new non-flammable battery techs get a legal exemption soon.
