Does it feature GPS and a compass?

I would consider it as my nav device for long distance hiking if it does.
With ebooks and note taking it would be great as a main device for such scenarios.
All I'd need in addition is my 4/3 camera or pixel for photos.

I don't care for the 5g, I usually go to places with no service anyway and have an in-reach for emergencies in those cases. but stylus and color ( for topo maps ) would make it great and cut down my overall weight.

Thanks for the info! I'm left with one question: can one make a phone call with the devices, or is the 5G data only?

The Boox P6 Pro series has been unveiled in China with support for 5G mobile data. The e-reader is available in two versions, one of which has a Kaleido 3 Color E Ink display and stylus support. Both devices are expected to get a global release as successors to the Boox Palma 2.
