Wie bereits angekündigt, wurde Ubuntu 25.10 heute als letzter Meilenstein vor der nächsten LTS-Version veröffentlicht, die für 2026 vorgesehen ist. Neben dem Linux-Kernel 6.17 und GNOME 49 umfasst diese Version auch das neue Ptyxis-Terminal, den Bildbetrachter Loupe, eine verbesserte Bluetooth-Audioverarbeitung und zahlreiche weitere Verbesserungen.
