From a reddit post: "Keyboard looks matte even on my 4+ years old machine." HP claims: HP DuraKeys are 50 times more resistant to wear than keys without this protection. Do all premium HP notebooks have DuraKeys?? All EliteBooks??
Is HP the only brand available, if one doesn't want the keyboard to look old and worn after some typing?
Keyboard was not reviewed, but you can see the keyboard looks fine except arrow keys are ½ size. Home, end, page up keys are there. www. notebookcheck. net/fileadmin/Notebooks/HP/EliteBook_X_G1i_14_AI/stress1.jpg
The EliteBook X G1i 14 doesn't offer any standout specifications or features, but what's here is done right and of very high quality for business users who just want the best lightwell clamshell without distracting extras.
