Its probably important to note that the Strava response on Reddit about Garmin imposing advertising requirements on their platform is a lie. They require a reference, but Garmins proposed policies required say nothing about logos etc, that was made up. Something deeper at play here for sure.
Garmin makes big claims about its smartwatches like the recent Fenix 8 Pro or the Venu 4. However, Suunto is now suing its main rival for intellectual property infringement. Meanwhile, Garmin and Strava continue to battle it out with the risk of severing ties altogether.
