It's 2025 and I just got this piece of hardware out of the "attic of my old laptops".
It runs i5-4210m cpu, upgraded to 512gb sdd and 2x8gb ram. Runs pretty smoothly... BUT... just oreder i7-4910MQ for this old beast... Can't wait for the cpu! Should be a nice home movie theater after upgrade! Oh, and I have GeForce 840M, not 740.

Sincerely,

-j

In addition, do you believe that this Lenovo is durable, ie. it can last a few years?

Thank you for these reviews, they have been a great help. They are much better than the many unfounded reviews you see across the internet! Please keep it up.

Quiet and strong. Lenovo furnishes a 17.3 inch casing with a Haswell Core i5 processor and a GeForce GPU, and sells the bundle for just under 700 Euros. The installed components suggest a powerful, all-round laptop. Our test report reveals whether this is really true.
