Honestly, Qualcomm has done a great job. They keep improving every year, and this time these laptops could become best-sellers if more developers start working with ARM architecture.  The entire mobile phone industry, including Apple, uses ARM, but it needs more support. With Qualcomm, we see a significant leap forward, while with Intel and AMD we only see incremental improvements. Qualcomm deserves to succeed with these processors.

We still don't have turnip for 8xx GPUs. Support is still being worked on 7xx even though it's been many years. So I don't have much confidence at all in this. Even if someone manages to get it working doubt it will become a decent or usable experience for most, not until many years later.

Hope these get linux first day support, unlike the prev generation.
If you are releasing a new product to steal customers from positioned competitors you have to appeal to early adopters and hobbyists... And those are the Linux users. (Which have way more mature arm support than Windows)
Anyway, let's see what the benchmarks and reviews say...
