My 7+ year old fenix 5pro has had the same face and always on... no burn just the cheap tat they churn out nowadays.

MIP displays are always "always on". There is no such thing as on or off on these displays.

Haven't seen a problem on my 7-year old Fenix 3HR.

A small wave of reports about burn-in on Garmin smartwatches is circulating on social media. This affects the usual OLED panels but also the MiP screens that use a technology similar to e-ink.
