Correct, but not only squares. Mudmaster, Gravitymaster (GR-B100 for example), G-Steel (GST-B300) etc., all of them use STN-LCD. Basically all higher end models with digital displays.

Edit: Here is my STN LCD Mudmaster next to my non-STN LCD GW-5000U square - https://imgur.com/a/meVOHBV - it is pretty clear how superior the STN is in legibility, sharpness and contrast.
