All the reviews I have read of these things lead me to believe I will spend more time babysitting these devices than just mowing a lawn myself.  Not quite there.

Yes, but they also leave presents on the lawn for you, won't stay off your car, and lots of people don't like harming animals! (Eating them)

Buy sheep and goats. They don't cost a lot. They'll keep the grass short and when they get fat you can sell them or eat them. Wise up.
