This is a major oversight of most mouse manufacturers, and it kind of makes sense. Even among left-handed mouse users, I know very few that actually mouse with their left hands. This is probably a consequence of the lack of left-handed mice, though.

Actually no! It's a textured plastic coating, not a rubberised coating. It'll wear off eventually, I imagine, but it'll just become shiny, not turn into a sticky mess, like TPU.

I'm so sick of this coating, from my Razer Orochi mouse to my two sets of Gen 2 Astro A50 headsets and several other things including a scale of all things.

Keychron has updated its most affordable M6 wireless ergonomic mouse with some choice new hardware that solve almost all of the common complaints about the design. The 1 kHz version of the M6 now features the same metal scroll wheel with Hall-effect sensors and silent micro switches as the M6 8K, and it still carries the same $40 price tag.
