This suction tech was developed for cornering. I am guessing this will help to mitigate wheel slip on initial start. But it will stress tires a lot. All of those record setting hyper-cars - those basically use up their tires in a single run.

More likely, like all of Musk's other "announcements," it'll be another dog and pony show designed to pump the stock with a product that doesn't actually exist, and never will.

Elon Musk promised that the upcoming Tesla Roadster 2 hypercar will be able to 'fly' in some way, and a demo is scheduled for later in 2025. Tesla, it turns out, may use an old Formula 1 technology to make it happen.
