You can but it doesn't work. My other/backup phone is a Redmi with, well, 4 GB of RAM. They are still getting actively killed no matter what, free RAM is always showing 1.7 to 2.2 GB. All battery saving or restrictions are being removed from all important apps. Search in Google this and you will know what I mean as everyone has that problem: hyperos killing apps site:www.reddit.com

4 GB of RAM with Hyper OS is about equal as 1 GB of RAM with any other Android variant, lol. Their memory management is plain terrible, it will always forcefully clean RAM to show how more than half is free, so you cannot switch between three apps at once and have the last app stay in RAM. It takes tremendous self-control to stay calm and not smash the phone into pieces when you need it for (online) banking but it keeps killing all the apps in the background so you can't fill any necessary info anywhere, lmao.

Retailers in Europe have started selling the Redmi 15 5G before Xiaomi's official release. Available in a choice of colours, the Redmi 15 5G is one of the first budget smartphones to feature a 7,000 mAh battery as well as a 144 Hz display.
