If you want solid arm mobile hardware that isn't windows but has a well supported ecosystem. Your only option is literally Nintendo and apple.

It's not so much that apple or Nintendo do anything particularly well but more so everyone else in this space is woefully incompetent.

That's literally what's happening here.

Which is not "awesome", considering how sloppy the console is and how they will get away with the incredible greediness and anti-consumerism. No wonder they just try these kind of sh... it's almost like Apple. People will buy a polished turd just because of the brand...
