This doesn't really matter.  While the Exynos 2500 may not be on par with Snapdragon Elite, those geek bench scores still represents an improvement over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's scores on the Galaxy Flip 6, which is always what you want when a newer phone comes out.   And besides, how many people out there are complaining that their Galaxy Flip 6 is too slow.

But, how is it to use?  You can spout the statistics all you want but for a user what will they see and experience?  Did it throttle?  Did it get hot?  Did a game that struggles on other device also slow down on it?  Will a typical user notice or just a power user...or will the power user not notice either?

Samsung has never been able to produce a flagship SOC. The top Exynos line has always been mediocre when compared to Qualcomm or Apple offerings. Even Mediatek can produce a better SOC. Living in Europe, this was the reason not to buy a flagship Samsung device.

Meanwhile, GSMARENA Response on the RAZR 60 Ultra using 8 elite:
"The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra never got hot during our tests, because its sustained performance is rather bad. It scored 42% on the CPU stress test and it could never complete the GPU test because it overheats 3 minutes into it!"

"We ran some games and the experience was trouble-free. But if you expect to make a gaming machine out of this Razr 60 Ultra, you should look elsewhere. In fact, what was even the point of having the best chip, if it cannot be handled and cooled properly. A bit of a waste, if you ask us."

See? Opting to Exynos 2500 will definitely them tweak the heat of the device.

Its performance is more than sufficient, especially considering that there is no DEX. But does it throttle and overheat like Snapdragon?

Following its debut a few days ago, the first hands-on CPU benchmarks for the Exynos 2500-powered Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 have now emerged. The chipset disappoints, unfortunately, showcasing performance only on par with last-gen chipsets like the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
