Just for awareness: The APU is identical between ROG Ally and ROG Ally X according to the official ASUS website(unsure if i am able to post links so googling the page is easy enough). The X does NOT have a "more efficient APU"
I upgraded mine with a 74 watt hour battery off ali express and get 2 hours playing cyberpunk or 7 days to die. Pretty much any high end game I get double the usual 1 hour. But I do find it doesn't like charging unless the battery is down to 70% or less. It won't charge at 90% or 80 which isn't a huge problem. It charges when it gets low enough. Strange behaviour though.

Two words: AI slop.
Or rather LLM slop, I don't particularly enjoy inference models being labeled "intelligence"
