Das Xiaomi Redmi K80 Ultra gibt es ab sofort auch für Kunden außerhalb Chinas zu kaufen. Das Modell wird in unterschiedlichen Modellversionen und zu Preisen ab unter 350 Euro angeboten, dabei handelt es sich allerdings nicht um die offizielle Verfügbarkeit. Daraus ergeben sich bestimmte, für Käufer wenig vorteilhafte Folgen.
