It may be just rumors, but getting better camera sensors in foldable isnt possible unless you come with a camera centric design - where you get more thickness for cameras, be it by introducing a different form factor or giving even this kind of thin fold all the thickness in camera island part it needs. 200mp 1/1.4'' 3x or so is surely in need of some thickness, and be sure I am more welcome to have thin phone with thick only camera part, than to have just thin phone with basically ''useless cameras'', at least when I compare it to bar phones - since they exist - why would I act like they don't, I love taking pictures. Not sure how much can Honor deliver, and even if with such great hardware, its processing and features lag behind some other brands, it will surely revolutionize a cameras in foldable space, surely pushing others to more aggressive approach - after all you cant compete with 10mp 1/4'' against 200mp 1/1.4'' and its surely embarrassing and bound to bring the sales down. There is ony so much some Ads can do to help the sales... even now before this comes, there is a fold with 3.7x hi res camera - making 8x low res shots possible - that, in comparison to 3x low res is already an easy choice, worth sacrificing some features.
are theses constant articles about the supposed thinness of upcoming foldables a joke?? especially, when on all of them the camera alone has already 5mm, so its all BS. stop this waate of space! unbelievable
While an official launch event is less than two weeks away, Honor has revealed the thickness of its latest foldable is ahead of schedule. Although the Magic V5 will undercut the Oppo Find N5 on thickness, Honor seems more concerned about the threat of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.
