Huawei has taken a risk in 2025 with the release of the Pura X, mainly as it has a new form-factor that might come to be known as the 'widescreen foldable smartphone'. It has done well enough on the market to warrant the commission of a second generation already, though, according to a new leak. The "X2" might be followed by a new and larger version of Huawei's Mate XT tri-fold in 2026.
