Apple has a history of only allowing one way to use, connect and wirelessly share files between devices such as iPhones and Macs: its way. That might all change soon, as the European Commission's Digital Markets Act (DMA) now requires third-party alternatives to tools such as AirDrop. The Cupertino giant's response implies that it might simply take them away instead.
