Das neueste Fallout 76-Update ,,Gone Fission" führt das Angeln als neue Spielmechanik ein – inklusive Ködern, Wettereffekten, Axolotls und realistischer Biss-Animationen. Mit dem Patch startet außerdem Saison 21, die neue Belohnungen mit sich bringt. Frühere Saisonkarten wurden automatisch in Goldbarren umgewandelt. Darüber hinaus hat Bethesda das Kampfsystem umfassend verbessert: Der Waffenschaden wurde erhöht, die AP-Kosten neu ausbalanciert, Gliedmaßschaden-Perks angepasst und legendäre Mods optimiert.
