I am sorry but is this some kind of ai generated content? Gemini series of models isnt even available for local deployments, and certainly isnt deployable with just 16gb of ram unified or otherwise

most people don't use Linux so they won't care but yeah for the group of people who use Linux will not buy it but the incompatibility with a lot of software is making people not buy them yeah you have ok x86 emulation but it's never going to be as good as native arm code especially how some software outright refuses to run so we have a chicken and a egg scenario many people don't want to buy a laptop that doesn't run every application they use but programers won't spend tons of money to code for hardware that lacks a big enough user base especially when most windows PCs are not arm apple was smart not only did they make a good product but they also made sure they had a good user base to have incentives for programers to make native code

Microsoft already offers a 64GB RAM option on their website exclusively.

Lack of strong Linux support.

Lack of compatibility in specialized workstation software.

Lack of compatibility in many games.

Could be 128G of RAM, won't make much difference if the software environment is lacking.

Did you guys not bother to fact check before writing this? The surface Pro 13" with an X Elite can be configured with 64GB RAM.

Without strong Linux support, Arm laptops are dead in the water.
