It is crazy, that BYD did not manage to do this right. Now they are out potentially millions of dollars for likely very little savings on labor costs. Everyone knows that this happens in China, but did they not consider that they would not be able to sweep this under the rug if $hit hist the fan?

Wow what a shock, who would have ever guessed that a CCP-run corporation would ever do something like this...

And yet idiotic leaders around the world clamor to do business with them. I'd pretend to be shocked but they're all bought and paid for.

Brazilian authorities have filed a lawsuit against the Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD and two of its partners for labor exploitation and multiple labor violations related to the construction of a factory in the state of Bahia.
