ARM indeed, in the spirit of the old Tegra line we have in the current Switch and has since been reoriented towards autonomous vehicles (Nvidia Drive) - re-upping the gaming aspect of it for future stationary and mobile consoles could be great

It has been ARM all along.

While APP (in)compatibility is one of the major downsides to Win-on-Arm products, the iGPU's that Qualcomm uses further limits those devices to mostly mobile games.

Nvidia releasing a 'gaming centric' APU could be a game changer (pun intended) in the portable & laptop space.

However, AAA games still would need to be compiled to run on Arm systems as emulation of x86 systems adds unneeded overhead.

A new leak from Moore's Law is Dead shows off an upcoming Nvidia APU for gaming laptops. It is tipped to arrive sometime between the Q4, 2025 and Q1, 2025.
