I think the article clearly says "gaming leader"

Quote from: Kellen on May 27, 2025, 01:02:35Hello, I think you missed two important types of games - online multiplayer games and esports games, including CS2, PUBG, Valorant, etc. I believe that where x3d really blow 275hx away with its power.

I can answer your question (for example regarding CS2). It simply obliterates the Intel flagship, not only the 275HX but also the 285HX, as you can see in this video review (sorry I can post direct video link for spam protection error) you can find it on bilibili with BV11hjdz4EGY. I try to post some screnshots. With the same GPU, the 5090, it always wins at all different power usage limits, from low to high. It's a gaming monster.

What a terrible, nasty company NVIDIA has become. They are trying to reduce the number of gaming notebooks with AMD CPUs and their 5090 GPU just to avoid highlighting the real performance of the 9955HX3D. It doesn't matter if this compromises the performance of their own GPU. By doing this, anyone buying a flagship gaming laptop with Intel ends up with limited gaming performance, and these laptops are not exactly cheap. Buyers are warned: avoid the 5090 with Intel CPUs at all costs if you want maximum performance.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D was the fastest mobile gaming processor in recent years, and now has a successor in the form of the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D. We tested the new Zen 5 processor with 3D V-Cache in the Tuxedo Stellaris 16 Gen 7, and compared it with the regular Ryzen 9 9955HX as well as the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX.
