You wrote: "Secondary SSDs can potentially be installed here in place of a WAN card."
I gave it a try — but with the SSD I chose (a Crucial P310 2 TB M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4 NVMe), the installation failed. According to the technician, a PIN was missing from the slot.

So my question is: was the issue caused by the specific SSD model? Or is it simply not possible to install an SSD in place of a WAN card in the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10?

What's interesting, besides its CPU + GPU power, is that its 3K OLED touchscreen is ideal for those who spend more than 6 hours in front of the laptop, with 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 2 TB.

Greetings and have a good weekend.

Sadly i have to disagree with you... It would be a nightmare to sit >6h in front of a low frequency PWM screen...

Thank you so much for the review!
A question: the test model is the one equipped with electronic privacy sheet, and i would really like to know if it works well. I'm on the G6 currently, and the implementation of that technology on the G6 is only halfway good...

Great review! Could you check if it is possible to power on the Thinkpad with the lid closed if used with an external display?

Is there any way to prevent the wave pattern throttling? Would repasting or using Throttlestop work?

Could a re-paste solve the weak thermals?

That display is hot garbage. Yeah, you don't expect to play lots of video games on ThinkPads, but this s*** will be really bad even for watching 50/60 FPS videos... So unless you never/rarely do that, do not get this s***!

The new Core Ultra 7 258V processor doesn't offer huge raw performance benefits over last year's options, but it's significantly more efficient with much faster graphics performance for longer battery life, quieter fans, and better editing potential.
