It was a Zombie, not an Imp. You don't meet your first Imp for another couple minutes into the level. (That may sound like a pedantic correction, and on some level it is, but inaccuracies like that contribute to the popular anti-game-journalist sentiment of the last half-decade and reflect poorly on the writer and publication if left unchecked, by however narrow a margin.)

Doom 3 and it's expansion we're amazing. The story, the feeling, the pacing, everything.  I wish they'd remake or reboot that one.

Doom3 sold great, played great, looked and felt great, I loved it and so did everyone else around me, the speculation that it failed was only spread by critics even back then and now you are continuing doing that , please stop embarrassing yourself and get your facts straight.

Doom (2016) has been heavily discounted on GOG. The game bought the franchise back from a thirteen-year hiatus and, like the original that launched in 1993, set a new benchmark for FPS games.
