Derzeit wird davon ausgegangen, dass das nächste Gaming-Tablet von RedMagic etwas kleiner ausfallen wird als der Vorgänger. Trotzdem soll das Gerät ein Upgrade auf einen OLED-Bildschirm erhalten. Darüber hinaus soll der Nachfolger zum Nova die Tablet-Konkurrenz in Form des Lenovo Legion Tab 4 mit einem großen Akku in Sachen Laufzeit übertreffen.
