Too dim for real world home theater use. Never bothered about projector demos inside dark enclosures. When straight for projectors quoted brightness as ANSI lumens. No regrets watching 150" screen even in daytime & house is NOT in total darkness.
The Dangbei MP1 Max is a pretty bright 4K projector that utilizes three lasers and should therefore offer decent color reproduction in addition to a large projection size of up to 180 inches.
