Yes. Anyone with an ounce of foresight will want to defer their purchase. Why pay a higher price for any reason. Especially if that reason might just go away in a blink of an eye.
The problem is - a large portion of USA's economy runs on excessive purchase habits of Americans. They 'consume' 1/3 of the worlds products by price. This reduced spending might hit the economy really hard.

Just remember, companies needs the PEOPLE, not the people needs it!

Any product increase will only hurt companies, not the people. The people have choices and/or patience to wait out the storm!

Greedy companies does not have that same luxury to wait it out without risking some closures or worse, closing up shop!

What's stupid is: to build/source your products elsewhere then try to sell it back to a country where you are founded from and has the factories, and the capacity/capability in that founded country to build that product without the need for tariffs.

Ford has increased the prices of the Mustang Mach-e and two other models it manufactures in Mexico by up to $2,000. This step is a response to the recent tariff hike by the current US federal administration.
