The source code on GitHub only goes until Winlator 7.1 which was released on Jun 2024. All forks like Winlator@Frost and others are based on that old version.

If I gave you a hotdog (free as in gratis) and it turns out it's contaminated with e. coli it'd be my fault as I am careless in quality control and you have every rights to blame me.
The virus is confirmed to be a variant of self replicating Floxif, that means he *might* be unaware of the infection and his development PC is the one that got infected first, then every executable he built on that machine is compromised.
But instead he dismissed every concern including those from cybersecurity experts as "haters".
