Figures... over the past holidays I picked up a Starlink Mini...

There are TWO decent rate plans for the Mini: $50 for 50GB or $10 for 10GB. I recently enabled the $50 plan.

On an outing this week I was where there was ZERO Cell phone coverage. While I did have a Garmin InReach device (another LEO Sat service) setting up and using the Mini was a breeze. Within a few minutes I had WiFi and WiFi calling working. :)

Figures, as soon as I purchase something a NEW model comes out. Oh-well I don't see myself 'upgrading' anytime soon.

After the Starlink Gen 3 router that ushered in Wi-fi 6 connectivity and was developed to support the V2 satellite generation, SpaceX is now preparing to launch new gear. The Gen 4 routers will likely support the upcoming faster Starlink dish versions.
