Clearly you are mistaken because I have both games and the way Schedule 1 handles things is almost noted for note how DDS works. That however does not mean that Tyler violated any copyrights either. I don't expect this to escalate any farther than it has.

There never was a lawsuit. There was nothing but a copyright investigation.
 Sites like this one simply trafficked misinformation on the situation and reported Tyler was being sued, when he wasn't.

The only reviews they "deserved" are honest ones from people who have played the game.

It's a little funny to see how little or much the gaming community is willing to see when the topic involves a game they like or dislike. When it's their favorite investigating a copyright infringement, they're at the ready with pitchforks and suddenly have the internal knowledge of how companies are ran of a seasoned business lawyer. But once the game they like/love are the ones getting investigated, they stick their fingers in their ears and just scream until it "goes away".

Schedule 1 and Drug Dealer Simulator are very alike. Whether or not they want to admit that does not change legal copyrights, and we have no idea how in-depth those copyrights are.

Also, they are a company. Companies gain a majority of their funding from investors and stakeholders. Now, this is NOT like stock market investing, where you put your money into something, hope for the best, then are s*** out of luck if the company shits itself. It is a contractual agreement that you will do everything in your power to run them a profit if they invest in you, and in exchange, they get a seat on the board and are able to make business decisions as well. Meaning, the CEO or whatever of Movie Games could have thought Schedule 1 was the cutest and coolest thing ever, as long as the investors felt threatened, they have to do something about it, or their funding will be destroyed and they'll likely have to shut down. Does that seem fair to you all? Would you expect the lone indie developer to also throw his income away after he finally makes it and builds a company just to fall into a situation like this?
