Absolutely nothing said here aligns with reality.
Ps4 got blown out of the water, in resolution, frame rate and asset quality on the vast majority of gamea shown. Steam deck isn't even in the competition. There is no point even talking about it here.
Heck series s got slapped down with some games, with sf6 being an absolute stomp.

Cyberpunk switch 2 has ps5 asset quality in general, blowing ps4 pro out of the water, and better shadows than the ps5, having shadows and ao on objects that were not in the ps5 build, like the shadow of johnnys arm across the chair. And that build was only worked on for seven weeks. I remember the ps4 launch of cyberpunk.it had a heck of a lot more than 7 weeks behind it and was a disaster because the hardware couldn't hack it.
For me, personally it's none of that. I'm just interested in tinkering with a Arm SoC Nvidia GPU attached to it that is reasonably inexpensive.
Literally, can't wait until this is hacked and people start running other OS's and apps on this thing. The addition of it coming with screen, battery, controller and can play some games is just a bonus.
I wonder if eventually someone will be able to get eGPU working on this thing? Would be sick if it could be hooked up to a RX 9060 XT or something.
Why does everyone keep comparing the Switch 2 to the Steam Deck? The Switch 2 is a console. It plays video games. That's it. You can't do anything else with it. The Steam Deck is a fully functional handheld PC that can surf the web, stream media, handle productivity apps (if you really wanted to), and virtually anything else a regular PC can do, within, of course, the limits of its hardware. Stop comparing apples to oranges... or in this case, a beef patty compared to a full steak dinner.
So we're comparing it to a device that released in 2022. That is scary. Nintendo is not realizing that the market is completely different from 2016 when they were getting ready to release the OG switch. Handheld gaming PCs are everywhere now and we're nonexistent back then. So why buy a switch 2 when you can buy a legion go, ally or steam deck for cheaper and be able to play every game from all systems, except Nintendo (legally)? The games are really what pull people to Nintendo but they didn't have anything to show. No new Zelda, Metroid will be on switch 1, no new animal crossing, no Mario 2d or 3d. And the top shown games were cyberpunk, hogwarts legacy, street fighter 6, elden ring, star wars outlaws! Lol, other than the Nintendo games we are getting old games 75% of everyone has played and have played on systems with better fidelity. I think the switch 2 is doomed from the start especially with the prices!
Without experts dissecting the handheld, questions remain about key Nintendo Switch 2 specs. Digital Foundry has gathered evidence that paints a more complete picture of the console. The site also predicts how Switch 2 performance may compare to the Steam Deck.
