Do they really tho? What games have you tried?

I played sparking zero on winlator and the frame pacing / times was so bad it made me want to vomit. And that was after applying optimized settings. Honestly, lost interest after that since that was the one game I was interested in playing, although I'm sure there are some games that work just fine. Also winlator tends to murder battery life..(atleast it did with SZ)

Switch emulation is pretty much dead. There hasn't really been any real monumental progress since yuzu's last final build tbh.

I'm very hopeful for rpcs3 android as I know the dev is very respected in the scene but it's still in a very early days alpha state. The last build I tried recently got me like 1-5 fps in hot shots golf. I'm sure it'll be playable in a few years and it is amazing progress for how little time it's been worked on. But again, talking *today* it's just not there yet currently.

Quote from: AndroidSoftwareIsBehind on April 01, 2025, 19:47:31I think I'm good and willing to wait another couple of years till Snapdragon 8 Elite v3 is released and then get Snapdragon 8 gen v2 discounted device for cheap.

The problem with gaming on android isn't hardware but the software just simply hasn't caught up. Even my current Snapdragon 8 gen 2 device isn't being fully utilised or has the most optimal drivers.

Spending anymore is just pointless atm.
skill issue. use winlator to play PC games or try to emulate switch games. I've done that on my snapdragon 778G and they run flawlessly.

The tablet needs a better way to deal with heat. Also the included case is a really cool concept, but the quality of it was so cheap that it broke in about a week

The Lenovo Y700 (2025) is badged as the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 globally.

Lenovo is set to launch a new gaming tablet shortly. This tablet will likely be a refresh of the Legion Y700 (2025) which debuted towards the end of last year, and is tipped to bring both performance and design upgrades.
