Yeah that would've been awesome and it would require Intel to lose money on every card sold. Not very realistic.

Very disappointing if true. Intel also seems to have abandoned Lunar Lake Halo. This is not a good sign. Battlemage was going so well too. Sure it wasn't perfect and basically required a new system to run at its best, but it was still a welcome contender in the $250 bracket. A B700 series with 16/18/24 GB of VRAM for $299, $329, or $399 would have been awesome.

Despite repeatedly appearing in leaks, it looks as though the Intel Xe2 Battlemage B770 GPU may have been cancelled. This leaves Nvidia entirely unchallenged in the high-end desktop GPU market unless AMD releases a higher-end RDNA 4 GPU soon.
