Nice, I'm in the market for a small desktop again- for the first time in a decade and a half, as I've just been connecting Samsung DeX to my monitor instead- and was considering the new G4 mac mini or the upcoming Geekom QS1 with a Snapdragon X Elite. I will wait and see what Huawei releases instead, as I'd love to get out of the outdated desktop OS market and try out the new Harmony OS 5 instead, with its brand new microkernel:
Huawei has developed its own counterpart of Apple's M3 silicon, according to a recent leak. The in-house chipset is now thought to power an equally custom PC, one that might be the OEM's answer to a Mac, Mac Mini or similar desktop. It might be a premium product, and boot HarmonyOS out of the box following a launch allegedly set for later in 2025.
